Fight Club the movie is coming up on its twenty-fifth anniversary in August 2024; the book’s twenty-fifth anniversary was in 2021. To be honest, at the time — until just a few years ago — I wasn’t a fan of Brad Pitt so I steered clear of the movie. It wasn’t until a co-worker clamoured on about the movie that I decided to watch it and I’ve been hooked ever since.
In honor of Fight Club’s upcoming twenty-fifth anniversary, I thought I’d write a post about my favorite quotes from the movie. But first, I want to put the quotes in context, or at least what I deem as being in context.
