I returned from my deployment of Iraq in the fall of 2005 to a dismal future. When I returned I found out I had been fired whilst deployed (very illegal move).

Over the next two years I lost my truck, my family disowned me, and I ended up homeless for two years. I had no family, what few friends I had were still deployed, no car, no, job, no money, no hope, and no future.
