Minimising negative emotions usually comes to mind when we think about mental health issues, cultivating positive emotions rarely does.
Positive emotions matter when it comes to our happiness. Noticing and appreciating simple joys such as eating your favorite chocolate can go a long way. In order for this to happen, we must put ourselves in situations that are likely to evoke positive emotions. For me, it’s spending a day at the art gallery.
